On June, 10th.2021, Prof. Dr. Prasit Watanapa, first Vice President of the Medical Council, Thailand, presided over the opening of the ASEAN Joint Coordinating Committee on Medical Practitioners meeting together with Associate Professor Dr. Prasobsri Ungthavorn, Dr. Wonchat Subhachaturas and Prof. Dr. Prakitpunthu Tomtitchong, members of the subcommittee on international Affairs of the Medical Council of Thailand. The meeting was convened in a virtual platform at the “Jettpong Hall”, 14thfloor, of the Health Professional Building, Medical Council Office. The meeting was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prasobsri Ungthavorn and joined by Professional Regulatory Authority representatives from 9 ASEAN countries (Vietnam was missing).
